Forrester conducted our annual evaluation of the secure online banking websites of the six largest Canadian banks — Bank of Montreal, CIBC, National Bank of Canada, Royal Bank of Canada (RBC), Scotiabank, and TD Canada Trust — using our Website User Experience and Functionality Benchmark (WSB) methodology. RBC and CIBC once again took the top two spots, with RBC in the lead. Overall, our evaluation reveals that eBusiness teams at Canadian banks have enhanced their secure websites, with changes to layout, navigation, and design having a big impact for multiple firms. The next step is for eBusiness leaders to move beyond the basics and innovate with services such as personal financial management (PFM) tools and superior eDelivery.
