The Briefing Process

Forrester encourages companies to brief us when they introduce a new product, change a business model, or form a new partnership. The Forrester briefing process is designed to provide a central coordination point for vendor briefing requests. Your request will be routed to the relevant analysts within 24 hours, and we will let you know whether your request has been accepted and what analysts have accepted within five business days.

To ensure that your briefing request is routed to the appropriate analyst within 24 hours and responded to within five business days, please complete the Request a Briefing form. Be sure to indicate where the company that would like to brief Forrester is headquartered in "The Company" section of the form.

Please work with the identified point of contact to schedule the meeting as soon as you are notified that it has been accepted. Please note that when a briefing is accepted, only one analyst is guaranteed to attend the briefing.

Tips For Filling Out Briefing Requests

The Request A Briefing is often the only information analysts have to make a decision about a briefing request. To ensure that analysts are provided with the best possible information, we suggest the following:

itemGive at least two weeks' notice. Whenever possible, please submit your request at least two weeks before the requested briefing date(s).

itemBe clear. The more straightforward the request, the more likely that the analyst will understand what you do and what you want to accomplish with the briefing.

itemComplete the form thoroughly. This greatly increases the likelihood that you will brief the most appropriate analysts. View a list of all Forrester analysts and their coverage areas.

itemBe flexible. Requests for specific dates and/or locations will make it very difficult to meet your expectations, especially on short notice.

Briefing Days At Forrester
Forrester hosts in-person Briefing Days at its research offices around the world. Briefing Days are complimentary events for technology vendors to have an opportunity to brief multiple, leading Forrester analysts face-to-face in a day-long, research-themed event. In addition to briefing up to three analysts, attendees will learn about Forrester's perspectives on trends in technology and technology adoption by businesses and consumers through analyst presentations, facilitated group discussions and peer networking.
