I am trying to develop a solid vision statement for our business architecture (BA) organization that is supported by our mission. The vision statement represents the future, is result-oriented, and should be a short statement that inspires our employees. I have put some quick thoughts together below — would like your input. Our mission (fundamental purpose): To ensure the optimal selection, integration, and utilization of enterprise business processes and technologies. Potential vision statements (I am asking for your thoughts and suggestions): 1) Helping our organization make the best business and technology decisions; 2) Optimized enterprise business and technology; 3) Eliminating gaps; 4) Eliminating gaps between business and technology; 5) Creating Business and Technology Fusion; and 6) Instilling Smart Business and Technology Fusion for our organization.
