Absolutely agree with Rodney Adams' point on the value of simplicity.
This is a value that all CE manufacturers know is key to mass consumer adoption and one where Apple shines. A rule that I have regularly passed to my clients - particularly for digital projects - is: "The overall use of a system is directly proportional to the ease-of-use of that system." Apple's iPod + iTunes is the simplest 'system' in all its facets and a welcome solution for the often difficult task of digital music management to the millions who use it. The 'cool' factor is naturally also a plus. Strange how so few other companies seem to want to latch on to the simplicity principle... This message was a reply Posted by Rodney Adams on May 11, 2004
