Good idea to change but I would not use term business technology as Computers are one of the technology used to run business. Its not 100%, ofcourse in some cases it can be but not in majority like manufacturing, transportation, Aviation where they use other technologies also to run their business like Cold forging technology, Chemical process technology, Automotive technology and Aviation/Aerospace technology which are the core technologies to run the business. Hence giving Computers Business technlogy would not differentiate at all. Moreover, Computers are used at home too where this does not bring any business but entertainment and knowledge. hope I could clarify my stand why would I not like the term Business Technology. I would prefer, it to be Intelligent Technology (IT) or say Information Intellegence Technology (BIT), since it does not confine Computers to business only but a technology which brings intelligence all over whether at home , at school, or business or anywhere. best regards S.P.Arya
