Hi George,
Good points, especially as Forrester focuses on the business aspect of IT, as it is coined today.
The term BT may also be limiting though, given the scope of technology systems as applied to users outside the business. For example, students, users of social networks, and families might consider themselves using "Technology Systems" rather than "Business Technology" to communicate, collaborate, and also entertain eachother.
Also, Technology can certainly be applied to business, just as Marketing and Finance can - and as other responses point out - there is no need to place the word "Business" up front since those are focused disciplines as well.
