Does this make sense ?

I really wonder if general usage terms get changed though such a discussion based process. It normally changes through multiple references in the media and adoption by some leading thought and action leaders over a period of time. Its a matter of how much the existing term does NOT make sense at all and how the new term is a better fit. For example, as technology started becoming more and more intensive, people moved away from MIS to IT as an expanded scope variable. Similarly, anything new shoul expand the scope of what IT addresses and then we have an evolution.
I can see an evolution in 2 directions - one generally in the direction of being more business friendly and another in the direction of being more individual centric.
I was wondering about the term "Organization Technology" - because from a sociological perspective even an individual is an Organization. Whatever may it be, we need to have a go at it and see how well people adopt it.
