"BT" ¿ OK, but not in this context

In my humble opinion in this context IT is the correct term and BT is inappropriate here.
My advice is to study the definitions of the following terms:
1. business
2. technology
3. non-profit organization
4. information technology
What matters more than words per-se is the real intrinsic semantics of the expression or term. For example the semantics of "BT" suggested by George is that "BT" is not applicable to non-profit organizations because they are not businesses. In contrast "IT" is neutral in the context of the organization main goal.
I suggest that we all approach the issue of information through its intended logical outputs and their quality because that's what we look for and need. The means, processes and inputs are of secondary importance and so is the method of physical implementation. An info system, be it large or small, can be realized by the most modern computers, networks, software and alike, yet having it implemented by just papers moving around does not exclude it from being an information system. And, yes, paper is a legitimate part of IT.
As a last comment, probably BT is related with ALL the technologies that contribute to business, including systematic marketing, sales, financing, planning, R&D, production, servicing and so on. Of course all these should be harmonized with IT, which is just one meta-component in the frame of any business. Please remember that any IT system has four subsystems: hardware, software, policies and people (excluding the users who are part of the other systems which integrate with the IT one).
