Business Information Management ... WOW .. I just cant agree more with Chuck on this Term .. I ve been talking to scores of IT folks everyday for over 10 years selling various solutions. Gone are the days when we would be presenting a solution to LOB heads and IT folks playing a second fiddle ... The Knowledge of IT folks on the business issues and drivers is phenomenal, i would say it is as good as the LOB head's. And i strongly believe it s huge leap forward and in the right direction. Today the IT guys have an equal say in the decision making process unlike the Old days when after a decision was made they would sut and think how to integrate it in their current environment.. Though some industries have become really mature like the Retail and the financial services and some like HealthCare and Higher education are reaching there...
