CIOs are constantly working to run IT like a business — focusing on business orientation through capabilities like IT planning, portfolio management, and IT investment optimization. A myriad of vendors — from small niche players to traditional heavyweights — have sprung into action to provide a new, broader breed of IT management software tools to help.
