Consumer Technographics
Name of survey:  Retail and Media North America
Product:  North American Consumer Technographics
Date of survey:  February 2003
Region:  North America
Respondents:  9,788

Forrester conducted an online survey of 9,788 US and Canadian households that are members of Greenfield¿s online panel. Forrester weighted the data by age, sex, income, education, household size, and region to demographically represent the online adult North American population. Greenfield fielded the survey from December 2002 to January 2003 and motivated respondents by entering them into a drawing for a variety of cash prizes. For results based on a randomly chosen sample of this size (N = 9,788), there is 95% confidence that the results have a statistical precision of plus or minus 1% of what they would be if the entire adult population of online North American households had been polled. The sample used by Greenfield is not a random sample; while individuals have been randomly sampled from Greenfield¿s panel for this survey, they have previously chosen to take part in the Greenfield online panel.
