Consumer Technographics
Name of survey:  Q3 2003 North American Study
Product:  North American Consumer Technographics
Date of survey:  September 2003
Region:  North America
Respondents:  13,627

Forrester conducted a mail survey of more than 13,000 US and Canadian households that are members of NFO's mail panel. NFO weighted the data by age, sex, income, education, household size, and region to demographically represent the adult North American population. NFO fielded the survey from July to August 2003 and motivated respondents by entering them in a drawing. For results based on a randomly chosen sample of this size (N=13,627), there is 95% confidence that the results have a statistical precision of plus or minus 0.8% of what they would be if the entire adult population of North American households had been polled. The sample used by NFO is not a random sample; while individuals have been randomly sampled from NFO's panel for this survey, they have previously chosen to take part in the NFO mail panel.
