Hello Council members,
February is a short month, filled with valentines, snow (at least for those of us on the East Coast), and a ton of activity here in the Database Marketing Council and at Forrester overall. Please make a note of upcoming Council activities and recent research at the left of this newsletter, as well as of the items below.
Next CouncilTel: February 22
Shar VanBoskirk's Forrester Wave™ evaluation of email marketing service providers will provide the foundation for our next CouncilTel, "Building A Stronger Email Marketing Service Provider Relationship," scheduled for
February 22 at 2 p.m. Eastern time.
Due to the high level of interest in this topic, the call will join members of both the Database Marketing and Interactive Marketing Councils. If you haven't already done so, RSVP and let us know if you plan to join us. As with all Council calls, please also let me know if there are any specific questions you would like to ask of your fellow Council members or Shar, and I will be sure that they get addressed during the call.
Forrester Wave Evaluations: Part 2
Following on the heels of Forrester Wave reports on the database and email marketing service provider industries, Elana Anderson and Keith Gile recently performed extensive vendor landscape evaluations of enterprise marketing platforms and BI reporting and analysis platforms, respectively. Key aspects of these reports are accompanying vendor scorecards for each of the key players in the respective industry. These summaries include insights gleaned from reference interviews and an in-depth breakdown of the vendor's current offering, strategy, and market presence.
Elana's report will form the basis for an upcoming CouncilTel, but please don't hesitate to contact either Jonah or me in the interim should you have questions regarding any of the research.
|
As always, if you have any questions, need assistance with a project, or would just like to bounce an idea off another Council member, please don't hesitate to contact either Jonah or me. We're here to help!
Best regards,
Justin Bruton
