Hello everyone,
It's after Memorial Day, and if your family is anything like mine, you are neck deep in suggestions and planning for possible vacations and day trips. Unfortunately, there is so much information available regarding ways to spend that precious free time: guidebooks, friends' suggestions, Web sites. It's a wonder that anyone ever gets beyond the planning stages to move from point A to point B. If only taking action based on available information wasn't so hard. And this, of course, brings me to the topic of our upcoming CouncilTel.

June 28 CouncilTel: Operationalizing Analytics -- Unlocking Strategic Value From The Analytics Function
Zubin Dowlaty, VP of decision sciences at InterContinental Hotels Group, will share how he has centralized the analytics function and leveraged customer insight to create new streams of revenue for his company. Zubin will provide insight on the changing role of the analytics function and discuss:

  • How InterContinental Hotels Group evolved its analytics function to transform customer data into a strategic asset.
  • The steps taken to aggregate and integrate disparate data sources to build the foundation for a successful analytics program.
  • A review of frameworks used to roll out new processes to the business based on customer insight.
