Deputy Airport Manager
Francisco Vieira Pita holds a Master Degree in Transportation Policy and Planning, a degree in Transportation Sciences and a bachelor degree in Nautical Sciences. From 1997 until 2001 he worked as a Transport Analyst responsible for several technical areas in transport planning studies and projects. In 2011 he completed the Airport Management Professional Accreditation Programme, holding the designation of International Airport Professional (IAP) from ACI and ICAO.
In 2001 he joined ANA, the Portuguese Airport Management Company, as a Senior Analyst for the Policies and International Affairs Directorate working in the appraisal of international airport projects.
From 2004 to 2010 he was Head of Faro Airport Marketing and Customer Service, responsible for market research, route development, communications, public relations, key-account management, statistics, passenger services and assistance to passengers with reduced mobility.
In March 2011 he was appointed Deputy Airport Manager of Lisbon Airport. In addition he was appointed in October 2011 as “Member at Large” from the Airports Council International World Facilitation and Services Standing Committee.
In addition he has taken part in several internal projects in the fields of service level agreements, route development B2B tools, product and service development, intermodality and tourism/airport partnerships.
