2013 will be a transformative year for IT adoption in Asia Pacific (AP); multiple IT trends will converge to drive industry disruptions and help spur renewed growth in IT spending. Overall, we forecast that IT spending will grow by 4% across the region; growth will be closer to 8% if we exclude the large and slow-growing Japanese market. The adoption of new technology solutions in areas like analytics, cloud, and mobility will help drive this spending growth, along with government stimulus policies in China.
