The rise of mobile devices and broadband Internet access at home is driving new behaviors by information workers. We quantify the portion of workers that report spending personal funds for specific device types and the amount of spending they control. In particular, we highlight Apple, whose products are much more visible in business environments than they used to be. This webinar provides guidance to vendors on how mobile, bring-your-own-device (BYOD), the fall of Microsoft's hold on end user devices, and Apple's growing business presence will create opportunity and challenges in the marketplace for business offerings.
Agenda:
- Mobile devices, BYOD behaviors, and the easing of Microsoft's hold on end user devices are all radically changing the personal technology market.
- Workers use many personal devices and are spending their own money to get their jobs done.
- Apple is establishing a significant and influential presence among employees in companies large and small.
- Apple will become a substantial player in the overall commercial IT ecosystem and act as a leading example of how consumerization drives enterprise adoption.
Vendors mentioned: Apple, Google, Microsoft, RIM/Blackberry, and Samsung.
You'll receive an email with dialing and Webex instructions prior to the Webinar.
