Masami serves Vendor Strategy Professionals by analyzing trends in the Japanese IT industry. She is also responsible for overseeing Japanese research and operations.
Masami joined Forrester through its acquisition of Springboard Research. She previously worked as a senior market analyst at IDC. She was also a market intelligence manager at American Power Conversion (APC), where she was responsible for the analysis of macroeconomic and tech industry trends, competitive landscape, and brand perception. Prior to that, Masami was a consultant at Price Waterhouse Consultants (now part of IBM).
Masami holds an M.B.A. and a master's degree in international economics.
