Patty Gaumond is Vice President of Enterprise Internet Solutions at State Farm Insurance Companies, Bloomington, Ill. She is responsible for creating the digital experience for consumers, including online, social, and mobile capabilities, and the associate-facing intranet.Ms. Gaumond joined State Farm in 1980 as a developer. She held several leadership positions in corporate research, IT application development, and IT infrastructure. She assumed her current position in 2007.Ms. Gaumond holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics from St. Mary's College in South Bend, Ind., with minors in computer science and French. She has participated in several industry forums, including Society of Women Engineers, Leadership Illinois, Infrastructure Executive Council, and Social Media Business Council.
