Phil serves CIOs with research on workforce technologies and the programs that support them. His specific topics of focus include social business and collaboration tools, video, and productivity software. As a senior analyst, Phil helps clients navigate the market and maximize the business value of their technology investments. He also advises technology vendors on market dynamics, buyer demands, competitive landscape, and go-to-market.

Phil is a key contributor to Forrester's workforce technology assessments — a quantitative approach to help professionals and the teams they work with have a fact-based conversation about employees' technology adoption and requirements.

Previous Work Experience

Prior to his current role as an analyst, Phil was a researcher on Forrester's Content & Collaboration team and a senior research associate on the Sourcing & Vendor Management team. In those roles, he interviewed hundreds of IT professionals and technology vendors while conducting primary and secondary research for research reports and consulting engagements.


Phil has a B.S. in business administration from Boston University's School of Management.
