with Connie Moore, Jamie Barnett

Executive Summary (This is a document excerpt)

Forrester evaluated nine leading business process management suites (BPMS) vendors across 215 insurance-specific and BPMS criteria and found that Pegasystems, Fiserv (with Lombardi Software), and IBM established early leadership in BPMS for insurance thanks to their insurance-specific attributes and strategies, and their overall BPMS functionality. Pegasystems leads BPMS pure plays with the most complete insurance suite. Fiserv achieved leadership by coupling a fully featured BPMS (from Lombardi) with its insurance information system offerings. IBM leads by providing strong BPMS offerings linked with excellent integration capabilities. FileNet, Innovation Group, TIBCO Software, BEA (formerly Fuego), Global 360, and Fujitsu are Strong Performers.
