Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance Software Scorecard Summary: SAP

Key Findings From "The Forrester Wave™: Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance Software, Q1 2005"

Executive Summary (This is a document excerpt)

SAP was relatively late to the market with its internal controls product, missing the initial wave of SOX adoption, but the product is on track to make an impact within the SAP customer base. The product was designed with a good COSO-based internal control framework, and SAP is the only vendor we reviewed that offers an anonymous complaint (whistleblower) function. The solution still lacks maturity, however, which can be seen in the limited reporting capabilities and minimal data integration with SAP's own transactional systems.
