Sun Microsystems will acquire SeeBeyond, a vendor of application integration and business process management (BPM) middleware, for $387 million. SeeBeyond's products fill the key hole in Sun's Java Enterprise System platform and are technically compatible with Sun's software. SeeBeyond is a large acquisition for Sun and comes at a time when Sun is already occupied with absorbing Storage Technology.
