Vitria Technology leads the Strong Performer category in our evaluation of the integration-centric business process management suite (IC-BPMS) market, close behind the Leader group. Vitria has been a strong player in the integration market for several years, but unlike other vendors such as webMethods and TIBCO Software, Vitria struggled more during the 2002 technology bubble burst, going into a sustained period of reduced sales and little or no profits.
