Asia Pacific has overtaken Europe in the global banking platform race, with the Middle East, North America, and South America seeing a better-than-average increase in new named deals. Customer data management/party centricity has pushed core banking from the functional throne — albeit only with a very minor gap between the two. Risk management follows as number three, with a somewhat larger gap separating it from the leading pair.
