In the first bullet in the What It Means section, a vendor name, Habeas, was added to the following sentence to ensure accurate exemplification of non-ISP-aligned deliverability vendors: As ISPs outsource sender data management to cut costs, we expect that new services will appear from non-ISP-aligned deliverability specialists like Return Path and Habeas, which will act like the credit bureaus of email delivery. In addtion, we reworded the following sentences to clarify the difference between opt-outs and bounces: CAN-SPAM requires that opt-outs are processed in 10 days, but in today¿s heightened environment, one ISP advises marketers to process opt-outs in one day if possible. Moreover, it¿s also critical to clean out bounces in a timely fashion.
