Why Read This Report

Forrester's recent security survey of North American and European SMBs provides some insight into the current state of IT security. We found that the IT security organizations for small and medium-size businesses (SMBs) are becoming more similar to those of enterprises in terms of both strategy and technology. However, there are a few areas within security where SMBs will continue to lag behind enterprises — such as budgets, establishment of formal business continuity management programs, and breadth of tools used to address application security.
