Speaker Biographies
Philippe Jarre was appointed IBM¿s Global Vice President of Business Continuity and Resiliency Services (BCRS), a service product line of IBM Global Technology Services in January 2005. BCRS is approximately a $1 billion division with 1500 employees around the world, and 154 Sites in 55 countries. The BCRS division helps clients build, deploy, and manage the continuity of their business so they can minimize disruption while building a resilient organization. Prior to this position, Mr. Jarre was Vice President of Global Integrated Technology Services and before this the Executive Assistant to the Senior Vice President of IBM Global Services in New York. Mr. Jarre also served as VP for BCRS Europe and was leading the successful acquisition of Schlumberger Business Continuity in 2004. In addition, he has held a number of other Executive positions including Practice Leader for the CRM business in Europe, and also the Financial Services Sector Executive in France.
