In Forrester's 108-criteria evaluation of talent management vendors that offer suites for both learning and performance, we found that Plateau Systems edged out Cornerstone OnDemand, Saba Software, Taleo, and SumTotal Systems for the top spot. Plateau's stellar core learning functionality, coupled with advancements in performance management, boosted it to the top of the Leader category. This tightly bunched pack of Leaders also includes Cornerstone OnDemand, with its exceptional growth as an overall leader in both learning and performance; Saba, with its strong social and global capabilities; Taleo, which now offers a learning application, and is quickly and successfully integrating its talent acquisitions into a complete solution that extends well beyond its recruiting heritage; and SumTotal, with its depth in the learning component and its rapid acquisition integration. Halogen Software and SAP are Strong Performers; Halogen leads in customer satisfaction and SAP has a strong road map.
