John has extensive industry knowledge in financial services and the media and entertainment industries as well as a broad range of commercial and noncommercial industries. John joined Forrester through its acquisition of Springboard Research, which acquired his own independent IT industry analyst firm, Hydrasight, in 2010. He previously spent five years as a senior vice president and principal analyst with global IT research firm META Group.
