Executive Summary

Regional carrier Cellular South is based in Jackson, Mississippi, and is the largest privately held wireless carrier in the US. In mid-2007, it enlisted Bank of America to participate in a test of the Cellular South WirelessWallet, a mobile wallet embedded in prototype NFC-enabled Kyocera mobile phones. ViVOtech also participated, providing POS terminals for participating merchants.
