Internet banking is a huge success in the Netherlands. Due to rapid take-up in the last few years, online banking growth is now slowing down — 68% of Dutch consumers now bank online, the highest adoption level in Europe. During the next five years we expect that an additional 1.5 million consumers will start banking online so that by 2013, 81% of Dutch consumers will use Internet banking.
