FileNet is a strong performer in enterprise content management (ECM). FileNet P8's core strengths are high-volume production imaging and records management, complemented by document management, e-forms, a midrange COLD product and collaboration. The vendor lacks ECM breadth, highlighted by its limited Web content management capabilities, moderate document management functionality, and absence of digital asset management capabilities. However, FileNet P8 provides a consistent architecture and platform for ECM, making it one of the most suite-ready ECM offerings in the market.
