Executive Summary

Google Analytics released version 2 of its product in May of this year. The tool has a simplified interface that's based on extensive user research and provides context and visualizations that make data easy to understand. It provides a great deal of functionality for a free tool and is a great fit for small to midsized businesses, departments in large organizations, and large AdWords buyers. But Google Analytics doesn't offer all of the features that today's enterprises need, like visitor segmentation. That means that enterprise class shoppers will have to wait and see how Google's plans to add more features in the coming year materialize.
