Executive Summary
Italian investors are returning to the Net to research and buy stocks and funds. For the coming five years, we expect the numbers to continue to grow — by 2011, 2.9 million Italians will research stocks and funds online, and 1 million Italians will buy online. Existing investors moving their activities online will mainly drive this growth, rather than large numbers of new consumers beginning to buy and hold investments.
