Metastorm has been adding to its BPM clout and organic growth in recent years by growing through acquisition, most notably of B2B integration specialist CommerceQuest and, more recently, enterprise architecture (EA) modeling vendor Proforma. While the company's well-rounded product line was already winning it business, the addition of Proforma opens up a range of new scenarios for using EA modeling together with process execution. The Baltimore-based company now also has excellent cross-sell opportunities for customers on either side of the acquisition.
