Executive Summary

Oracle has made significant progress since Forrester last reviewed its integration solution in July 2005. The Oracle SOA Suite contains several new enhancements in process modeling, business activity monitoring, human workflow, and enhanced business rules support. Oracle has also broadened the reach of its integration platform by enabling the Oracle SOA Suite to run on top of other J2EE platforms, such as IBM's WebSphere Application Server, BEA's WebLogic Server, and JBoss. In short, the vendor has aggressively defended it previous leadership position during a period of rapid expansion of business requirements.
