Executive Summary

Perfect Commerce combines a supplier network, a SaaS eProcurement product, and a sourcing product. While Perfect Commerce's supplier network is primarily in North America, it has suppliers in Europe and has been acquiring clients there as well. Its eProcurement product has above-average scores for current offering, on par with ePlus and Quadrem and just a notch behind SAP and Oracle's PeopleSoft Enterprise eProcurement product. Its strengths include very good process configuration, solid goods procurement, and good reporting and supplier connectivity and enablement (second only to Ariba). Its integration and globalization features are above average. However, services procurement support is weak, settlement functions are average, and its only deployment option is SaaS. Perfect Commerce lands in a Contender position on our Forrester Wave evaluation instead of a Strong Performer position because its strategic position is weakened by low scores for financial resources to pursue its otherwise competitive product and corporate strategies.
