Executive Summary

SageCRM, formerly ACCPAC CRM, is one of only two vendors in this evaluation that offers the same solution as a hosted offering or an on-premise deployment. SageCRM and software-as-a-service (SaaS) version SageCRM.com are part of the Sage Software CRM family, which also includes ACT! at the lower end and Sage SalesLogix, targeted slightly upmarket from SageCRM. Like most SaaS solutions, SageCRM provides easy-to-use wizards, aimed at business users, for setup and configuration. The product can also support more sophisticated customizations through coding — but those are only possible with the on-premise version.
