Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance Software Scorecard Summary: Oracle

Executive Summary

Oracle was earlier to market with an internal controls product than its ERP competitors, and it has achieved significant sales traction with Internal Controls Manager. Key strengths of the product include integration with Oracle Financials and process documentation capabilities. Out-of-the-box reporting capabilities were found to be lacking, and the vendor chooses to leverage partners for risk and control content rather than include it in the application. Although we found the user interface to be complex, it should appeal to existing E-Business Suite (EBS) customers.
