This report summarizes the merchandising and Web optimization findings from the 11th annual fielding of "The State of Retailing Online," a Shop.org study conducted by Forrester Research. In this study, retailers reported that the top investment priorities for their eCommerce Web sites center on improving the customer browse experience — improvements to the home page, search results pages, and product detail pages. Retailers also expressed a keen interest in investing in elements of the shopping cart, checkout, and fulfillment processes.
