This is an excerpt

Executive Summary

Forrester surveyed 626 technology decision-makers at European small and medium-size businesses (SMBs) and 643 technology decision-makers at European enterprises to understand the state of IT security. Security remains a high priority for enterprise infrastructure and software decision-makers alike, while SMBs emphasize PC refreshes and improving integration between applications. Consequently, European enterprises will increase their spending in many areas, including network access control (NAC) and security information management (SIM). However, for European companies of all sizes, the single most important security technology purchasing criterion is ease of management.
