Executive Summary

The Swedish eCommerce market has grown very rapidly, fueled by surging broadband usage, a more technologically aware population, improvements in the eCommerce infrastructure, and ever-increasing online retail consumer spending. Sweden's online shopping adoption is growing at double-digit rates each year. Forrester expects this trend to continue over the next five years. The number of online shoppers has more than doubled since 2003, with more than 4 million Swedish consumers buying products online today, or 54% of adults. By 2014, we expect nearly 6 million Swedish online buyers to spend more than SEK55 billion (€5.1 billion) on the Internet.
