Last week, VeriSign announced the acquisition of Retail Solutions for $24 million, and a partnership with the WorldWide Retail Exchange (WWRE). (IRI). VeriSign positions these moves as part of a larger vision to support the integration of POS, master item attributes, and product movement data.
