Executive Summary

Stellent Web Content Management, the core of which is Stellent Content Server, offers enterprise-class organizations a Java-based Web content management (WCM) system supporting the full range of web content management and Web content delivery capabilities. The product provides a single, strong content repository for managing Web content, documents, and digital assets and addressing the long-term retention and disposition of managed content and published sites, making it a good choice for organizations more concerned with addressing content compliance needs within their external and internal site initiatives. The product's breadth is clearly a strength and its enterprise content management (ECM) suite-readiness is a differentiator; however, outside the content repository's strength, it offers little differentiation from other WCM competitors.
