Amit serves Technology Product Marketing & Management professionals as a lead consultant on the Forrester's Total Economic Impact™ (TEI) team. His specific focus is on developing sales tools and solutions that help measure and communicate the value of IT products and services. Amit also specializes in developing complex sales analytic models and decision-support systems to help clients solve business challenges around financial justification of investments.
Amit's past experience spans a wide variety of industries and functional areas. Amit came to Forrester from the Monitor Group, where he advised top Fortune 500 companies on high-profile projects focused on corporate and growth strategy, marketing and sales, IT, and performance improvement. Prior to the Monitor Group, Amit worked at EMC implementing process improvement projects to increase customer satisfaction levels and business productivity. He was also a senior technical analyst at Business Forecast Systems, where he provided demand management and supply chain consulting services.
Amit holds a B.S. in neuroscience and psychology from Brandeis University and an M.S. in computer science with a concentration in knowledge discovery and data mining from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
