His research agenda focuses on the strategies of IT service providers — including the needs of their technology and business customers — and covers topics related to strategic planning, marketing, and sales. Chris also writes about general topics relevant to technology vendor strategists — such as meeting the needs of business customers, innovation, and emerging technology trends and disruptions.

Previous Work Experience

Prior to his work as an analyst, Chris spent two years as a senior consultant within Forrester's technology industry consulting group. In this role, he conducted strategy consulting engagements for leading technology vendors, with a focus on meeting the needs of IT service providers. As a consultant, Chris leveraged Forrester research and analyst expertise to help clients with a diverse range of projects, including innovation management, IT outsourcing strategy, virtualization, and network services. He has helped his clients with market sizing, competitive assessments, customer segmentation, product marketing, and M&A strategy. Prior to joining Forrester, Chris had several years of experience in strategic planning, including advisory and market research work for Fortune 500 technology companies and private equity investors.

Education

Chris received his M.B.A. from Georgetown University and his B.A., with honors, from Middlebury College.
