Previous Work Experience

David came to Forrester through its acquisition of JupiterResearch, where he served as vice president and research director of the company's successful operations and industries product grouping, and authored and collaborated on market research that informed, evaluated, and accurately forecast the future of the broader online economy. David started his tenure at JupiterResearch in 2000 when he was brought in to launch the company's CRM research practice.

David previously held senior-level positions at Apple Computer, Urban Outfitters/Anthropologie, MicroWarehouse, and ProTeam, where he launched and/or oversaw the catalog and fledgling interactive efforts of these organizations throughout the 1990s. With more than 15 years of direct to consumer marketing experience, David is frequently the keynote speaker at industry events including the Email Evolution Conference and Email Insider Summit. He founded the Email Measurement Accuracy Coalition, which was absorbed by the Email Experience Council in 2008. David is an advisor to a variety of industry organizations including the DMA's eec, AOTA, and Mediapost's Email Insider Summit. He is co-author of the Wiley Publishing book Email Marketing, An Hour A Day with Jeanniey Mullen, which was published in November 2008.
