Ed has more than thirteen years of experience in eBusiness and channel strategy development within the payments and financial services industries. He joined Forrester through its acquisition of JupiterResearch in 2008, and before this spent eight years as senior analyst in the bank cards and payments practice at TowerGroup. Prior to this, he worked for a unit of Thomson Financial Services, where he developed a quarterly journal focused on the Internet's role in securities processing.
Ed develops actionable thought leadership around consumer payments and financial services trends and habits, and has presented on related topics at a variety of leading industry and client events. These include CardTech SecurTech (2003-2008), where he presented sessions and moderated day-long industry tracks focused on mobile and contactless payment evolution; multiple Mobile Payment Forum plenary sessions; and client and executive industry events sponsored by the Federal Research Bank of Chicago, Citibank, MasterCard, PayPal, Sprint, Tsys, Visa, and others.
