Research Focus

Emmett serves eBusiness & Channel Strategy professionals. He is a leading expert on online banking, bill payment and money movement, mobile payments and banking, and payments risk management and fraud.

His research focuses on eBusiness strategies, best practices and consumer adoption trends for online banking, EBPP, money movement, eStatements, and online self-service. Emmett works with financial services clients to understand how new technologies are changing consumers' use of payments and online financial services, and how to maximize the opportunities these changes bring.

Previous Work Experience

Prior to joining Forrester, Emmett spent more than 18 years in financial marketing and product development roles. Most recently, he managed online bill payment and money movement activities for Citibank. He also spent several years running new payments product development projects for Citi Cards. Prior to joining Citi, Emmett worked with T. Rowe Price Associates to optimize its mutual funds Web site, and helped the firm garner several "Best of the Web" awards.

Education

Emmett holds a B.A. in writing from The Johns Hopkins University and an M.B.A. in marketing from Loyola College.
